May 2018 Service and Repair ManualPlatform Overload ComponentsPart No. 1272219 GS™-2669 RT • GS™-3369 RT • GS™-4069 RT 9714-2Platform Overload RecoveryMessage (software version B3and later)If the ground controls LCD screen displays OVRLDRECOVERY, the emergency lowering system hasbeen used while the platform was overloaded.Note: This message shall be cleared by a persontrained and qualified on the troubleshooting andrepair of this machine.Note: Use the following illustration to identify thedescription of each control button used in thisprocedure.1 LCD screen2 up button3 function enable button4 down button1 Turn the key switch to the ground controlsposition and pull out the red Emergency Stopbutton to the on position at the platformcontrols.2 Press and hold both the up and down buttons.Pull out the red Emergency Stop button to theon position at the ground controls.Result: TUNE SPEEDS is showing in the LCDscreen.3 Use the down button to scroll to select options.4 Press the function enable button.Result: DESCENT DELAY is showing in theLCD screen.5 Use the down button to scroll to overload.6 Press and hold the function enable button for5 seconds.Result: A screen will appear asking for theoverload recovery passcode.7 Press the buttons in the following sequence:(down) (down) (up) (enable)Result: The LCD screen displays CLEAREDand returns to the OVERLOAD SCREEN.8 Use the down button to scroll to RETURN TOMAIN MENU.9 Press the function enable button.Result: SELECT OPTIONS is showing in theLCD screen.10 Push in the red Emergency stop button at theground controls.
