It can be repairedlink by link without removing the cables and hosesthat run through it. Removing the entire primaryboom cable track is only necessary whenperforming major repairs that involve removing theprimary boom.How to R emove the Cable Track , Z- 45/25How to Remove the Cable Track,Z-45/25Note: When removing a hose assembly or fitting,the O-ring (if equipped) on the fitting and/or hoseend must be replaced. All connections must betorqued to specification during installation. Refer toSpecifications, Hydraulic Hose and Fitting TorqueSpecifications.1 Locate the cables from the primary boomcable track to the platform control box.Number each cable and its entry location atthe platform control box.2 Disconnect the cables from the platformcontrol box.3 Pull all of the electrical cables out of the plasticcable track. Do not pull out the hydraulichoses.4 Raise the primary boom to a horizontalposition.5 Tag, disconnect and plug the platform rotatorhydraulic hoses at the union located above theprimary boom lift cylinder. Cap the fittings onthe unions.Bodily injury hazard. Sprayinghydraulic oil can penetrate andburn skin. Loosen hydraulicconnections very slowly to allowthe oil pressure to dissipategradually. Do not allow oil tosquirt or spray.6 Tag, disconnect and plug the hydraulic hosesfrom the "PR1" and "PR2" ports on thecounterbalance valve manifold located on theplatform rotator. Cap the fittings on themanifold.Bodily injury hazard. Sprayinghydraulic oil can penetrate andburn skin. Loosen hydraulicconnections very slowly to allowthe oil pressure to dissipategradually. Do not allow oil tosquirt or spray.7 Tag, disconnect and plug the hydraulic hosesfrom the platform leveling master cylinder.Cap the fittings on the cylinder.Bodily injury hazard. Sprayinghydraulic oil can penetrate andburn skin. Loosen hydraulicconnections very slowly to allowthe oil pressure to dissipategradually. Do not allow oil tosquirt or spray.8 Tag and disconnect the hydraulic hoses fromthe platform leveling slave cylinder andconnect them together using a connector. Capthe fittings on the cylinder.Bodily injury hazard. Sprayinghydraulic oil can penetrate andburn skin. Loosen hydraulicconnections very slowly to allowthe oil pressure to dissipategradually. Do not allow oil tosquirt or spray.
