4-2 Placing and Receiving CallsPlacing a CallThere are several ways you can place a call.Dialing a Call1. Tap the Phone application icon in theLauncher ( ). Or, if you are currentlyusing Phone or Contacts, tap the Phonetab.2. Tap the keys on the phone keypad toenter phone number.If you enter a wrong number, tap toerase digits one by one. To erase theentire number, tap and hold .3. Press the Send key on your device or tapthe green phone icon on the screen toplace the call.Placing a Call from Contacts1. To open Contacts, you can tap theContacts icon in the Launcher ( ); or, ifyou are currently using Phone, tap theContacts tab.If calling a contact in the favorite contactslist that you have created, you can tap theFavorites tab.2. Tap the contact to call.3. Tap the phone number to use to call thecontact.
