Web and Communications 6-9Composing and Sending MessagesYou can send text (SMS) messages of up to160 characters to another mobile phone.You can send multimedia (MMS) messagesthat contain text and a picture, a recordedvoice, an audio file, a video, or a pictureslideshow.1. In the message list screen, tap Newmessage.2. Enter a mobile phone number in the Tofield. As you type, matching contactsappear. You can tap a suggested contactor continue typing.You can also enter the name of a contact.3. Tap the composition text box to startentering your message.4. If sending an MMS message:Press the menu key on your device andtap Add subject to add a message subject.Press the menu key on your device andtap Attach to open the options menu foradding multimedia item(s).After adding an item, you can use thebuttons in the screen to preview, change,or remove the media attachment.5.
