Prepare the packing bag and box of the power module. Make sure the bag is clean, dry, and notdamaged.2. Remove all power modules from the chassis.For information about how to remove a power module, see "Replacement procedures."3. Put the removed power module into the bag.4. Put the packed power module into the box, and tape the flaps of the box with packing tape.Repackaging the card1. Prepare the anti-static bag and box of the card. Make sure the bag is clean, dry, and notdamaged.2. Remove the transceiver modules from the card.If no transceiver module is installed on the card, go to the next step.For information about how to remove a transceiver module, see "Replacement procedures."3. Put the removed card into the anti-static bag.The cards on the S12500-X switch have protection boxes. Put the removed card into the protectionbox, and then put the box into the anti-static bag.5. Put the packed card into the box, and tape the flaps of the box with packing tape.Repackaging the switch chassisRemoving the chassis from the rackS12500-X switches are heavy. If possible, use a mechanical lift to move the switch.To remove the chassis from the rack:1. Prepare the wooden pallet base, carton, and packing bag of the chassis. Make sure they are clean,dry, and not damaged.
