Verify that the power module model is compatible with the switch.2. Verify that the power module is securely installed in the switch.3. Verify that the power cord is connected correctly.4. Verify that the power source meets the requirement.5. Verify that the ambient temperature is in the acceptable range and good ventilation ismaintained for the power module.6. Remove and install the power module.7. If the problem persists, contact H3C Support.To replace a power module, see "Installing/removing a power module."Fan tray failureCAUTION:• Install two fan trays of the same model on the switch.• Do not operate the system with one failed fan tray for more than 24 hours.• Do not remove the failed fan tray until you are ready for replacing it.• Do not operate the system without any fan tray for more than 2 minutes.• Do not operate the system outside of the temperature range 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F).SymptomThe system status LED on the switch is steady red and the system outputs alarm messages aboutfailure of a fan tray.SolutionTo replace the fan tray, see "Installing/removing a fan tray."
