Page 55SETUPConfiguration and Advanced Control Programming (ACP)The Setup menu is used to configure operating parameters, program your system to do its automated control and securityfunctions using ACP, and give text and voice descriptions to all of your zones, units, buttons, codes, temperatures, and messages.To enter the Setup menu, from the top-level display or from the main menu, press the 8 (SETUP) key on the console keypad.Upon entry to the Setup mode, you will first be prompted to enter a security code:SET UPENTER CODE:A Master code is required to enter the Setup mode.SET UP1=CODES 2=TIME 3=PROG ↓4=DIAL 5=ARM 6=MISC7=NAMES 8=VOICE ↑Set Up CodesOmni IIe has 16 user codes that you may assign to users of the system. All Omni IIe security codes are 4 digits in length(0001 to 9999) and must be unique. The controller will not allow the duplication of any user code including the Duress Code.You may, however, enter “0000” to disable a code.User Code 1 is always set to a Master code. All other user should be assigned a security code with an authority level, areas thatcan be accessed (if area arming is being used), and times in which the code is valid.To set up a code, from the Setup menu, press the 1 (CODES) key. Use the arrow keys to scroll through the codes.CODE 2:0000-9999 0000=DISABLEThe existing code number is not shown on the display. To change the code, enter a four-digit number, and then press the ' # ' key.Remember the code number. It will not be redisplayed.When entering a new code, if the code that you enter already exists, the console will beep three times and display:"*** INVALID CODE *** ". Enter a different code.Authority LevelPress the (↓) key. You will then be prompted for an authority level for that code:CODE 2 AUTHORITY: 31=MSTR 2=MGR 3=USER ¦AUTHORITY DESCRIPTION1 = Master Master codes have complete access to the entire system.2 = Manager Manager codes can arm and disarm areas that they have access to, during assigned times. Managers canaccess the Main Menu if the system is in High Security Mode, and have telephone access privilege.3 = User User codes can only arm and disarm the system in assigned areas, during assigned times. Telephone accessis not a privilege.
