Before changing thevalves (B & B1) note their orientation so they arereplaced correctly.2 The two white flap valves (B1) must be placed in thevalve openings as shown. It is recommended to usenew O-rings (C) when changing or checking thevalves.Changing diaphragms1 With the valve covers removed as explained above,remove the diaphragm bolts (D).2 The diaphragms (E) may now be changed.3 If fluids have reached the crankcase, re-grease thepump thoroughly. Before tightening the 4 bolts for thediaphragm cover B the diaphragm must be positionedbetween center and top to ensure correct sealingbetween diaphragm pumphousing and diaphragmcover. Turn crank shaft if necessary.correctwrongNOTE! When tightening diaphragm cover it mustbe ensured that diaphragm is in neutral or out.If the diaphragm is in negative, the edge of thediaphragm is not seated correctly in the dia-phragm cover. This will damage the diaphragm soit cannot seal correctly after having been dis-mantled and re-assembled.You must rotate the pump until the diaphragm isneutral or out.4 Reassemble with torque settings shown inTorquesettings (below).Maintenance
