193.3 Minimum clearancesThe following minimum clearances (inmillimeters) are recommended wheninstalling the heater.3.4 AssemblyThe following sub-assembly parts should beassembled to allow installation to continue.(a) Vertical Nozzled ModelsFor free blowing applications it will benecessary to complete the final assemblybefore continuing with the installation placethe nozzle plate onto the top of the heater, align holes, and secure.Fit the nozzles to the spigots, turning thenozzles to give the required approximatedirection for airflow.Secure nozzles to spigots, when correctlypositioned by way of self tapping screws, oncompletion of commissioning(b) Horizontal Nozzled ModelsRemove packing and secure the 900 DuctOutlet to the heater using the bolts supplied.Secure the nozzle spigot plate to the ductoutlet using the bolts and prevailing torquenuts provided. Fit the securing brackets toeach of the outlet nozzles, and lift thecomplete heater assembly and position onthe pre-sited purpose built supports. Finishoff the assembly by fitting and securing theoutlet nozzles to the spigots by way ofpreviously fitted brackets.3.5 Flue InstallationAn integral flue spigot is fitted to all CabinetHeaters thereby allowing the flue to connectdirectly to the heater. The design of the fluemust ensure that it can be disconnected toallow for cleaning and servicing, furthermore, all of the flue section jointsockets must face upwards, and the sealbetween the sections achieved throughmechanical joints or through the use ofapproved caulking string and grout. It isstrongly advised that BS 5854 and BS 5440parts 1 and 2 are referred to, see also figs9 - 19.Where condensation is likely to be aproblem provision should be madeat the design stage for trapping anddisposal of condensate.(see section 2.11).3.6 Oil Installation/connectionThe oil tank must be positioned so that thereis a fall of 7.5mm (+/- 2.5mm) for every30mm away from the outlet and towards thesludge/drain valve, which must be sited atthe lowest point in the tank. If the tank ispositioned on supports then there must be anadequate protective layer between tank andsupport to prevent damage or deteriorationthrough corrosion. It is strongly suggestedthat reference is made to BS 5410 ; part 2 ;1978.It is also suggested that the installer isfamiliar with the detail and requirementscontained within sections 2.1 through tosection 2.6 of this manual prior tocommencing installation.WarningProlonged exposure and contact with gas oilcan result in the natural oils being removedfrom the skin, sensitisation can result indermatitis. Always ensure that the appropriatepersonal protective equipment is used.Model Size Front Rear Lhs Rhs30 - 45 500 700 150 15060 - 90 500 1,000 150 150120 - 135 600 1,200 150 150180 600 1,500 150 150200 900 1,500 150 150235 2,000 400 400350 - 380 900 2,000 500 500900
