If directed to acheck procedure, replace the FRU indicated in the checkprocedure. If no check procedure is indicated, the firstAction/FRU listed in right column is the most likely cause.Non-System disk ordisk errorReplace and strikeany key when readyInsert a system disk into Drive A: andpress Enter.If you assumed the system would bootfrom the hard drive, make sure thecontroller is inserted correctly and allcables are properly attached.Be sure the disk is formatted as a bootdevice. Then reboot the system.OFFENDINGSEGMENT:This message is used in conjunctionwith the I/O CHANNEL CHECK andRAM PARITY ERROR messageswhen the segment that has caused theproblem has been isolated.PRESS A KEY TOREBOOTThis will be displayed at the bottom ofthe screen when an error occurs thatrequires you to reboot. Press any keyand the system will reboot.PRESS F1 TODISABLE NMI, F2 TOREBOOTWhen BIOS detects a Non-maskableInterrupt condition during boot, this willallow you to disable the NMI andcontinue to boot, or you can reboot thesystem with the NMI enabled.RAM PARITY ERROR– CHECKING FORSEGMENT ...Indicates a parity error in RandomAccess Memory.Memory parity Error at...Indicates a memory parity error at aspecific location. You can use thislocation along with the memory mapfor your system to find and replace thebad memory chips.Memory Verify Errorat ...Indicates an error verifying a valuealready written to memory. Use thelocation along with your system'smemory map to locate the bad chip.
