b) Type your service tools user ID and service tools password on the System Service Tools Sign Ondisplay, and then press Enter.c) Select Start a service tool > Hardware service manager > Packaging hardware resources(system, frames, cards).d) Type 9 (Hardware contained within package) in the System Unit field or Expansion Unit fieldof the unit where you are installing the PCIe adapter. Press Enter.e) Select the Include empty positions option.f) Select Concurrent Maintenance for the slot in which you want to install the adapter, and thenpress Enter.g) Select the Toggle LED blink off/on option. A light-emitting diode (LED) flashes identifying the slotthat you selected.h) If necessary to view the identify LEDs or to manage cables at the rear of a rack-mounted system,open the cable management arm by completing the following steps:1) Release the mounting bracket from the cable management arm assembly by pressing theindentation (A) on the inner cable management arm tab.
