uIBX-200-VX800 Embedded SystemPage 154.1 Installation PrecautionsDuring installation, be aware of the precautions below: Read the user manual: The user manual provides a complete description ofthe uIBX-200-VX800, installation instructions and configuration options. DANGER! Disconnect Power: Power to the uIBX-200-VX800 must bedisconnected during the installation process, or before any attempt is made toaccess the rear panel. Electric shock and personal injury might occur if therear panel of the uIBX-200-VX800 is opened while the power cord is stillconnected to an electrical outlet. Qualified Personnel: The uIBX-200-VX800 must be installed and operatedonly by trained and qualified personnel. Maintenance, upgrades, or repairsmay only be carried out by qualified personnel who are familiar with theassociated dangers. Air Circulation: Make sure there is sufficient air circulation when installing theuIBX-200-VX800. The uIBX-200-VX800’s cooling vents must not beobstructed by any objects. Blocking the vents can cause overheating of theuIBX-200-VX800. Leave at least 5 cm of clearance around theuIBX-200-VX800 to prevent overheating. Grounding: The uIBX-200-VX800 should be properly grounded. The voltagefeeds must not be overloaded. Adjust the cabling and provide externalovercharge protection per the electrical values indicated on the label attachedto the back of the uIBX-200-VX800.
