It is theinstaller’s responsibility to comply with installation clearancesspecified on the model/serial rating plate. The model/serial ratingplate is located inside the liner behind the filter on the left wall ofthe range hood.Range hood location should be away from strong draft areas,such as windows, doors, and strong heating vents.Cabinet opening dimensions that are shown must be used. Givendimensions provide minimum clearance. Consult your cooktop/range manufacturer installation instructions before making anycutouts.Grounded electrical outlet is required. See “ElectricalRequirements” section.This range hood is recommended for use with cooktops with amaximum total rating of 65,000 Btus or less.The range hood is factory set for vented installations through theroof or wall. For non-vented (recirculating) installations see “Non-Vented (recirculating) Installation Through the Soffit/Cabinet” inthe “Prepare Location” section.
