Part 2 - Configuration48UpgradeSelect Firmware Upgrade to display the USB searchwindow.Select the corresponding upgrade package from thestorage device connected to the NVR’s USB port.After selecting an upgrade package, select Apply toupgrade the camera.• If an upgrade attempt fails, an upgrade failuremessage will be displayed. Refer to Error CodeTypes in the installation manual for more details.• The camera will reboot after the upgrade and thenreconnect automatically.• Current software version is not checked whenupgrading a network camera.Record SetupRefer to the Menu Use on page 28 for basicinformation on using the Setup menus.GeneralConfigure general recording settings.● Recycle: When the recording disks become full,the system overwrites existing data with new data,starting with the oldest first. If Recycle is disabled,recording will simply stop when the recording disksreach their maximum capacity.● Record Audio: The camera will record audio alongwith video.● Event Record Dwell: If linked recording is designatedas an event-triggered action, recording takes place forthe duration specified under this setting.
