Set DIP Switch No.1 to OFF to cause the LEDDisplay Pattern to emulate “Pattern 2” whenoperating.Encryption Code Initialization SettingModeWhen the ccTalk Encrypted Communication Codeis unknown, use the set the Encryption Code Initial-ization DIP Switch setting to use the last 6 digits ofthe specific Taiko™ Serial Number, located on theback side of a Taiko™ Unit as the EncryptionCode.To set the “Encryption Mode” operating function,perform the following steps:1. Remove Power from the Taiko™ Unit.2. Set DIP Switch No.1 through No.6 to ON, andSwitches No.7 and No.8 to OFF (Figure 2-16).3. Re-apply Power to the Taiko™ Unit.4.
