If excess accumulationspersist, you should discontinue use of these products.Bathtub AdditivesMaintenanceSurface RepairTo clean your bathtub, simply use a mild, nonabrasive liquid detergent solution. You can protect and restore the glossto a dulled acrylic surface by applying Meguiar’s #10 Mirror Glaze, a product specifically designed for use on acrylicfinishes. If Meguiar’s is not available, use a fine grade automotive rubbing compound followed by an application ofautomotive paste wax.Never use abrasive household cleaners on any Jacuzzi Luxury Bath product.Minor scratches which do not penetrate the color finish can be removed by lightly sanding with 600-grit wet/drysandpaper. Restore the gloss using Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze or automotive paste wax. Major scratches and gougeswhich penetrate the acrylic surface will require refinishing. There is a visible indicator light on the heater itself that signifies the heater is operating. The heater willhelp maintain the temperature of the water in the bathtub.The heater is equipped with a preset vacuum switch which will not allow the heater to turn ON if the pump is notrunning and water is not flowing through the whirlpool system.The heater includes an exclusive High-Limit switch. Thissafety circuit will not false trip from hot tap water. It willonly turn OFF the heater if the thermostat fails. To reset,press the button.
