71Cleaning the Spa InteriorTo preserve the sheen of your spa’s surface, it is crucial that you avoidusing abrasive cleaners or cleaners which have adverse chemical effecton the surface. Regardless of the cleanser used, use extreme care toassure that no soap residue is left on the surface. This could causesevere sudsing when the spa is refilled.Information regarding spa cleaning and maintenance andthe products to be used can be found in the catalogue-guideprovided with the product.Pillow CareClean the headrests in your spa as needed by wiping them witha cloth with soapy water. It is not necessary to remove the head-rests for cleaning. To remove headrests for long-term storage orreplacement, grasp both ends of each headrest and gently pullinward towards the center of the spa. To reinstall, over mountingstrip and press down until headrest mounting bracket emits a“click” sound.N.B.: Always remove the headrests when adding a chemical shock treat-ment to the water. The headrests can be put back in the hot tub when thedisinfectant product value reaches a normal level again (see the watertreatment guide).Then adjust headrest height by simply moving up or down asdesired.Maintaining the Synthetic CabinetThe synthetic cabinet requires little or no maintenance of anykind. To clean, simply wipe cabinet with mild detergent soapsolution and a clean towel. Never spray cabinet with a high pressure garden hose forany reason since this action may induce an electricalshort in the spa’s electrical equipment.Cleaning the Control PanelTo clean, simply wipe control panel with a micro-fiber cloth thatis used for cleaning polycarbonate lenses.Vinyl Cover Care and MaintenanceYour Jacuzzi cover has a vinyl encasement. This vinyl encasementis attractive and durable. Clean and treat the cover every monthto preserve it and prolong its life..To Clean and Condition the Cover:1. Use a garden hose to loosen debris and dirt.2. Using a large sponge or a soft bristle brush, use diluted ormild soap and scrub the vinyl top. Rinse clean and do not allowsoap to dry on cover. Do not use soap on the underside of thecover.3. Please check with your Jacuzzi Dealer about purchasingJacuzzi’s cover care and conditioning products. Condition usingnon-petroleum based conditioners to keep the vinyl supple andthreads/stitching from drying out. Do not use solvents, abrasivecleaners or strong detergents. Do not use products that containsilicone or alcohol.Additional Care and Maintenance Instructions:1. Debris can accumulate on the spa cover. Removal of snow orother debris will help to avoid breakage of the foam cores.2. Be sure to lock the cover straps to secure the cover fromunwanted or accidental entry.3.
