Tighten bothadapters, being certain not to move or turn the gaspressure regulator.4. Use a ZB\zn" combination wrench and an adjustable wrenchto attach the flexible gas supply to the adapters. Check thatconnector is not kinked.IMPORTANT: All connections must be wrench-tightened. Donot make connections to the gas regulator too tight. Making theconnections too tight may crack the regulator and cause a gasleak. Do not allow the regulator to turn or move when tighteningfittings.Complete Connection1. Open the manual shut-off valve in the gas supply line. The valve is open when the handle is parallel to thegas pipe.2. Test all connections by brushing on an approvednoncorrosive leak-detection solution. If bubblesappear, a leak is indicated. Correct any leak found.3. Remove cooktop burner caps, burner bases, and gratesfrom parts package. Place burner bases on cooktop andburner caps on burner bases. Place grates over burnersand caps.4. For further information, please referto the user instructions located in the Use and Care Guide.Verify Anti-Tip Bracket Location1. Using a B\zn" socket or wrench, turn all 4 leveling rods onefull turn to raise the range and provide enough clearancefor the rear leveling leg to slide into the anti-tip bracket.2. Move range into its final location, making sure rear levelingleg slides into anti-tip bracket.3. Use a flashlight to look underneath the bottom of the rangeand visually check that the rear range foot is inserted intothe slot of the anti-tip bracket.Level RangeNOTE: Range must be level for satisfactory bakingperformance.1. Place rack in oven.2. Place level on rack and check levelness of the range –first side to side, then front to back.3. If range is not level, adjust the leveling rods. Turn levelingrods located behind the kick plate to level range and toraise or lower range to the desired countertop height.NOTE: All roller feet must be off the floor upon final installation.AABBA.
