VX7014Using a Smartphone via Screen MirroringWhat is HDMI/MHL (Screen Mirroring)? HDMI (High Definition MultimediaInterface) is a digital interface for audio and video sources. HDMI is a digitalreplacement for analog video standards.Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) is an industry standard for a mobile audiovideo interface that allows consumers to connect mobile phones, tablets, andother portable consumer electronics (CE) devices to high-definition televisions(HDTVs) and mobile multimedia receivers.Screen Mirroring allows you to use the multimedia TFT touch screen to controlyour mobile device.Note: It may not be legal to view apps on a smartphone while driving orcontrolling a vehicle. It is the drivers responsibility to obey local and federallaws while driving or controlling a vehicle.Interfacing your Smartphone - AndroidDepending on your model and brand of smartphone Screen Mirroring may notbe supported. Check your smartphone documentation for supported features.Android smartphones will require an app that must be downloaded from GooglePlay Store. Search for "Jensen Screen Mirroring" in the search bar.Note: In order to connect your smartphone to your VX7014, you will needan HDMI/MHL adapter for your particular brand of smartphone.
