No liability isaccepted for cables from other manufacturers.Pin FunctionOptocupler (Pin 1&2) max. 30V DC, max. 5mARelease input (Pin 3&4) Potential-free contactOpener NC or closer NO,Freely programmableTab. 23: Technical data connection socket 19.2.1.1 Stroke feedback outputAt the stroke feedback output, the dosing pump reports back eachexecuted stroke to the pulse input of another dosing pump. In this way, itis possible to network several dosing pumps and to trigger synchronizeddosing strokes. The stroke feedback output can continue to be used e.g. to evaluate thesignal in a PLC (stroke counting for batch mode).Fig. 27: Synchronization of several dosing pumps by means of stroke feedback and pulsecontrol9.2.1.2 Fault reporting optocuplerThe optocupler will notify dosing pump faults upon activation of thisfunction. The message can be evaluated e.g. with a PLC.For information on how to set the function of the release input, see 10.6.3„Set “Alarm output” menu item“ on page 31.9.2.1.3 Release inputUsing the Release input, it is possible to start or stop the dosing pumpexternally. For information on how to set the function of the release input, see 10.6.5„Set “Release input” menu item“ on page 31.9.2.2 Connection socket 29.2.2.1 Pulse inputThe pulse input makes it possible to control the delivery capacity bymeans of pulses. The system regulates the delivery capacity by means ofthe dosing pump‘s stroke frequency and number of strokes in depend-ence on the number of pulses and the pulse spacing.n Provided potential-free contactn For potential-free NO contact, e.g. a contact-type water metern Pulse length min. 4 msFor information on setting the Pulse input operating mode, seepage 36.Pin M12x1(A-coded)Assignments Connection Cable colour*1 Pulses13Brown BN2 - White WH3 Ground (GND) Blue BU4 - - - Black BKTab. 24: Connection socket 2* Applies to cable colours of cables from Lutz-Jesco GmbH.
