Drive the machine on a level ground.2. Lower the deck (4 or 5, Fig. C) with the switch (4, Fig. B).3. Turn the ignition key (12, Fig. B) to “0” position.4. (For brush/pad-holder deck) Disconnect the electricalconnector (3, Fig. K).(For cylindrical brush deck) Remove the protection cover(12, Fig. K) and disconnect the electrical connectors (3and 11).5. Disconnect the hose (4, Fig. K) supplying the solution tothe brushes.6. Remove the two cotter pins (6, Fig. K).7. Unscrew the knob (5, Fig. K) and remove thebrush/pad-holder deck (1) or the cylindrical brush deck(13).Assembly8. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.SAFETY FUNCTIONSThe machine is equipped with the following safety functions.EMERGENCY STOP BUTTONIt is located in a position (2, Fig. B) that is easily accessible forthe operator. Press it in case of immediate necessity to stopall machine functions.To reset it, turn it clockwise.SPEED REDUCTION AT BENDSIt reduces the machine speed in case of bends exceeding aspecified angle.DRIVER SEAT MICROSWITCHIt is inside the driver seat and it prevents machine movementand brush rotation when the operator is not on the seat.ELECTROMAGNETIC BRAKEBuilt-in the front wheel, it keeps the machine stopped when:the machine is off, when the emergency stop button is pushedand when the forward gear pedal is not pressed.NOTEAccording to the following instructions, it ispossible to install on the machine either thebrush/pad-holder deck (1, Fig. K) or thecylindrical brush deck (16).To assemble/disassemble the deck it is notnecessary to remove the brushes/pad-holders.
