Vehicle seating position and adjustment4.1 Vehicle seat location requirementsAccording to accident statistics, children 12 and under are safer whenproperly restrained in the rear seating positions than in the front seatingpositions. The vehicle’s back seat is the safest place for children. Use avehicle rear seating position whenever possible.Use a vehicle seating location equipped with the LATCH anchorage systemor a vehicle seat belt that can be tightly secured around this car seat. Alwaysuse a top tether anchor if available.
