710. Drain the water and Sea Powder into a dry,suitable receptacle and remove from cookingarea.11. Spread Keating Klenzer liberally on sides of fryervessel.12. At this point, a non-abrasive scouring pad may beused to remove the now softened carbonizedgrease.13. Thoroughly rinse fryer vessel with potable waterto remove all Klenzer.14. Prior to refilling with oil, wipe the inside of thefryer vessel making sure all water and Klenzerhas been removed.WATER IN ANY FORM AND HOT OIL DON’T MIX!!!15. Close drain valve.FAILURE TO CLOSE DRAIN VALVE BEFOREREFILLING THE FRYER MAY RESULT IN SERIOUSINJURY.WHEN YOUR FRYER IS BEING USED INCONJUNCTION WITH A CENTRAL FILTER,DISCONNECT POWER SUPPLY BEFORERESETTING MOTOR TO PREVENT SERIOUSINJURY WHEN RESET SWITCH IS ENGAGED (SEEFILTER MANUAL).16. Check thermostat bulb positioning - see page 8.17. Refill the fryer with new or filtered oil.ELECTRONIC CONTROLTIMERSThe electronic timers provide a clearly visible andaccurate display and are very easy to use.ELECTRONIC TIMERSFigure 3-6PROGRAMMINGTo program the timers, the unit must be in the idlemode. Press and hold the set button for approximatelytwo seconds. The display will show “SEt”. Press thebutton for the channel to be programmed. The displaywill show the current setting for that channel. Use theup or down button to increment or decrement thesetting. When the setting is correct, press and hold theset button again for approximately two seconds. Thedisplay will show “StO” for approximately two secondsand the timer will return to normal operation. Repeatthe process as necessary for other timers.OPERATING LOGICWhen the timer is powered up, the display will show thetime setting for the channel that was operated last andthe relay output contacts will be open. To start a cycle,press the desired channel button (1-3). The display willbegin to countdown from the preset time setting andthe relay output contacts will close. During thecountdown, the colon will flash at a one-second rate.When the countdown has reached “00:00,” the relayoutput contacts will open, the display will flash, and theaudible alarm will sound. To cancel the audible alarm,press any button.PAUSE FEATURETo pause a cycle in progress, press any button. Therelay output contacts will open, the display will flash,and the countdown will pause. To resume thecountdown, press any button. The display will resumethe normal countdown and the relay output contactswill close.CANCELLING A CYCLETo cancel a cycle in progress, press and hold anybutton for approximately two seconds.
