Bluetooth Control20Bluetooth ControlRegister the Bluetooth deviceIt is necessary to register the Bluetooth audioplayer or cell-phone in this unit before usingthe Bluetooth function.1 Press the [MENU] button.hh Popup menu appears.2 Touch [SETUP].hh SETUP Menu screen appears.3 Touch [Bluetooth].hh Bluetooth SETUP screen appears.4 Touch [Select Device] on the BluetoothSetup screen.5 Touch [ ] on the Select Device screen.hh Bluetooth pairing waiting dialogappears.6 Search for the unit(”DDX****”/”DMX****”) from yoursmartphone/cell-phone.Complete steps 6 to 9 within 30 seconds.7 Operate your smartphone/cell-phoneaccording to the displayed messages.● Confirm the request both on thesmartphone/cell-phone.● Input the PIN Code in yoursmartphone/cell-phone.PIN Code is set to “0000” as the default.8 Select the function you want to use.■ HFP [Hands Free1]/[Hands Free2]/[NoConnection.]Select the hands-free number to connect.■ A2DP/SPP [Audio/App]Select if you want to use the audio playerapp in your smartphone over A2DP, and theother apps in your smartphone over SPP.■ PBAP [Phonebook DL]Select if you want to transfer yourphonebook data.9 Touch [Yes].When data transmission and connectionhave completed, the Bluetooth connectionicon appears on the screen.NOTE• When registering the iPhone that is available forApple CarPlay wirelessly, a confirmation messageappears. Touch [Yes] to display the Apple CarPlayscreen for wireless connection.
