Using the remote, directly input the track number that youwant to listen to.Using the number buttons on the remote, input the number ofthe track that you want to listen to.The selected track number will blink in the display for 10seconds.If you make no further input in the 10-second period, thenumber entry mode will automatically be canceled.Press either the 4 or ¢ button while the track number isblinking.The track starts playing.Canceling Direct Track Search While It Is Operating:Press the 38 button.You cannot use the direct track search function while doingrandom or magazine-random play.NOTE21Direct Track Search (Function of Remote)If you have preset the name of a disc that you want to listen toin the disc changer, you can look for it by name and startplaying it.Press the DNPP button on the remote."DNPP" will appear in the display, and the disc name presetplay mode is entered.The preset names/disc titles of the disc in the disc changer towhich you are currently listening are successively displayed forfive seconds each.In any of the units that are connected, discs that have notbeen disc name preset will display "NO NAME".• This function can only be used in disc changers that weremanufactured or sold as of 1997. Also note that some unitscannot provide a display unless the disc name preset has beenmade by the unit that is playing.• Discs in the disc changer that have never been played beforewill appear as "NO ACCESS" when the disc names aredisplayed. When you cannot identify a disc because of the "NOACCESS" display after inserting a disc magazine, try playing it todisplay the disc name.
