If a graphic equalizer is connected, thekey should be left in the on position. Alternately, if a cassettedeck equipped with a 3-head system is connected to thejacks, you will be able to monitor the just-recorded signalwhile making recordings on the cassette deck. By switching thekey on and off, you can compare the sound of the source signal andthe just-recorded signal.
