Thevolume levels from each speaker should be the same.• The receiver enters the speaker volume level adjustment mode.• Indicators appear only for the channels of the speakers selectedin step 3.1 Press the ∧/∨ keys or MULTI @/# keys to select the TEST TONE.2 Press the SETUP key for the following displays:1 T.TONE AUTO2 T.TONE MANUAL3 The selection of AUTO/MANUAL TEST TONE is done by theMULTI CONTROL knob or MULTI %/fi keys.Press the SETUP key again to begin TEST TONE.Use the MULTI CONTROL knob or MULTI %/fi keys to adjustthe volume level of the test tone output from the speakerchannel to be adjusted.For AUTO selection, the test tone is heard from the speakers inthe following sequence for 2 seconds each starting from theFront Left speaker.LEFT CNTR RIGHT SRSL SBLSUBW SBR• If you have selected “SB NORMALx1” or ”SB LARGEx1”,“SBR” and “SBL” are not appeared but “SB” is appeared on theDisplay.The channel indication blinks while the test tone is being output.LSL SB SRC RSP MUTEA B CLIPSWLFE• If the speaker setting selects are OFF, the speaker levelsettings are reset.For MANUAL selection, press the ∧/∨ keys or MULTI @/#keys each time to select the speaker channel.4 Press the SETUP key again.• The test tone is turned off and return to the main setup displays.Preparing for surround sound
