Changing the value of Rate of Preservation allows a user to thin theGPS log data. If track points are too closely spaced on the map, thinning the GPS log data canreduce the complexity. Press the “OK” button in the Save Track dialog box and the Save screen willappear. In the file type selection, select “Keyhole Markup Language File (*.kml)” or “GPS ExchangeFormat File (*.gpx)” to save the data in KML or GPX format.
