Wiping the faceplate with a hard clothor using a volatile liquid such as thinner or alcohol mayscratch the surface or erases characters.Cleaning the Faceplate TerminalsIf the terminals on the unit or faceplate get dirty,wipe them with a clean soft dry cloth.Before using this unit for the first timeThis unit is initially set on the Demonstration mode.When using this unit for the first time, cancel the (page 53).About ODD (Offset Dual Differential) D/ASystemYou can enjoy high quality sound play whenplaying music CDs with the ODD D/A Systemenabled. ODD D/A System has two built-in D/Aconverters and each D/A converter processes D/Aconversion seperately on the front left and rightchannel. Since digital processing is performed foreach channel seperately, noise occurance frominterference between channels is completelysuppressed and the seperation of audio soundoutput from two channels is distinguished andclear. Also, the ODD/A System produces the databy which the sound data is offset on the minus sideand converts the two signals (original and offsetdata) to the analog signal, which has less noise anddistortion, by the synthetic process.However, ODD D/A System will be disabled if thefollowing settings are selected.- When "2ZONE" of "ON".- When (page 16) is "Bypass".
