Therefore, Windowsupdates should be performed when the system is not in normaluse.There is no 3rd party anti-virus software included with yourcontroller. Anti-virus application software is the customer'sresponsibility. Having anti-virus software installed may have aslight impact on system performance.A Microsoft Windows update might happen without useracceptance. The factory image on your Embedded Controller hasa default configuration set to notify you before downloading andinstalling any updates. However, Microsoft Windows willsometimes install updates without notifying the user, even ifconfigured to not perform an update. If your application requiresthat Windows does not perform updates, please work with your ITdepartment to determine the best solution. They may suggestisolating your network or setting up a firewall.
