These files must be copied to anotherlocation to allow them to be installed onto the new SSD after it has beeninstalled.If you are replacing the SSD, the following procedure must be performed first.Copy Unique Files from the Solid State DriveIf installing an SSD for Windows XP: if the user has loaded unique calibrationkit information, navigate to C:\Program Files\Keysight\NetworkAnalyzer and copy USER_CALKITFILE to a USB flash memory drive. Also copyany personal user files that you wish to preserve.If installing an SSD for Windows 7: for more information on the N8983A SSD,refer to the Windows 7 Operating System Upgrade Kit Installation Note,available online athttp://literature.cdn.keysight.com/litweb/pdf/N8983-90001.pdf.Tools Required— T-10 TORX driver (set to 9 in-lb or 1.02 N.m; for all other T-10 applications)— ESD grounding wrist strapSSD Removal and Replacement ProcedureRefer to Figure 7-23 for this procedure.Removal1. Disconnect the analyzer power cord.2. Loosen the knurled nut (item ①) and pull the A51 SSD out of the A17 CPUboard using the handle (item ➁).Replacement1.
