Disconnect the power cord.2. Remove the outer and inner covers. Refer to “Removing the Covers” onpage 7-6.3. Remove the A16 power supply assembly. Refer to “Removing andReplacing the A16 Power Supply Assembly” on page 7-23.4. Remove the A17 CPU board assembly. Refer to “Removing and Replacingthe A17 CPU Board Assembly” on page 7-25.5. Remove the short (item ①) and the 50 ohm load(s) (item ➁).6. Remove the connector hardware (item ③) from each of the five multi-pinconnectors. The hardware is not the same on each connector so notewhich hardware goes with which connector.7. Remove the connector hardware (item ④) from each of the RF connectors.The hardware is not the same on each connector so note which hardwaregoes with which connector.8. Remove the 13 screws (item ⑤) that attach the rear panel to the chassis.9. Slide the rear panel over the cable connectors and off of the analyzer.Replacement Procedure1. Reverse the order of the removal procedure.2. Perform the post-repair adjustments, verifications, and performance teststhat pertain to this removal procedure. Refer to Table 7-2 on page 7-60.
