Discard usedbatteries according to local ordinances and/or manufacturer’sinstructions.Procedures described in this document may be performed withpower supplied to the product while protective covers are removed.Energy available at many points may, if contacted, result in personalinjury.The power cord is connected to internal capacitors that may remainlive for 10 seconds after disconnecting the plug from its powersupply.Install the instrument so that the detachable power cord is readilyidentifiable and is easily reached by the operator. The detachablepower cord is the instrument disconnecting device. It disconnectsthe mains circuits from the mains supply before other parts of theinstrument. The front panel switch is only a standby switch and isnot a LINE switch. Alternatively, an externally installed switch orcircuit breaker (which is readily identifiable and is easily reached bythe operator) may be used as a disconnecting device.Do not operate the analyzer with the outer cover removed for more than30 minutes, as this could cause the analyzer to overheat which couldresult in costly damage.The opening of covers or removal of parts may expose dangerousvoltages. Disconnect the instrument from all voltage sources whileit is being opened.There are no replaceable fuses in the mains input or within the powersupply assembly.Keysight personnel: after calibration is completed, attach four “calibrationvoid if seal broken” stickers to the PNA as shown in Figure 1-1.
