Once the LCIcircuit (flow switch, gas pressure switches, LWCO,and High Limit aquastats) are completed the unitwill start the blower and begin the ignition sequence.Magnatherm is equipped with a low and high fire airpressure switch. The unit will pre-purge at 65% fanfor 30 seconds and prove fan through the blockedintake switch. Once fan is proven, the blower willproceed to 24% and the 10 second Pre-ignition timerwill start to allow the HSi to heat up. Once thePre-ignition timer has expired the control will openthe Pilot solenoid and the Pilot Flame EstablishingPeriod (PFEP) will start for 10 seconds to establishflame. Once flame has been established and the 10second timer has expired the control will open themain valve and the Main Flame Establishing Periodwill begin for a period of 5 seconds. If flame isestablished within those 5 seconds then unit willproceed to Run, if flame does not establish the unitwill post-purge to 100% for 30 seconds and thesequence for ignition will begin again. For noncSD-1 units retry for ignition is 3 times beforeLockout 109 (ignition Failure) occurs. For cSD-1 units there is a single retry before Lockout 109occurs.
