3.10 Changing the start delay timeGenerally it will make sense to let the turbomolecular pumprun up immediately after applying the start command.However when operating two or more turbomolecularpumps off a single power supply unit, it may make sense tostart the pumps one after the other. One way of achievingthis is to enter a start delay time differing from 0.To set up the start delay time proceed as follows:With the aid of a Windows PC and the PC software“TURBO. DRIVE Server” change the setting for the parame-ter 36 “Start delay time”. The possible values for parameter36 can be varied within the limits of 0 to 25.5 minutes (0 to255).So as to retain the value saved for parameter 36 whenswitching the pump off, the parameter value needs to besaved permanently.
