17RefuellingIMPORTANT:FOLLOW THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS!Be careful and cautious when handling fuels.The engine must be turned off and cooled down!Carefully clean the area around the fuel-tank filler neck to keepdirt from getting in the tank.Place the unit on its side on an even surface.Unscrew the tank cap and fill tank with fuel mixture. Take careto avoid spilling.Screw the tank cap back on hand-tight.After refuelling, clean screw cap, tank and check forlekages.Never start or operate the Power Cut in the same place asit was fuelled!If fuel gets on your clothing, change clothes immediately.Fuel mixtureAVOID SKIN AND EYE CONTACTMineral oil products degrease your skin. If your skin comes incontact with these substances repeatedly and for an extendedperiod of time, it will dry out. Various skin deseases may result.In addition, allergic reactions are known to occur.Eyes can be irritated by contact with oil. If oil comes into youreyes, immediately wash them with clear water.If your eyes are still irritated, see a doctor immediately!NOTE: For preparing the fuel-oil mixture first mix the entire oilquantity with half of the fuel required, then add the remainingfuel. Shake the finished mixture thoroughly before pouring itinto the Power Cut tank.Caution: Open the tank cap carefully, as pressure mighthave built up inside!It is not wise to add more engine oil than specified toensure safe operation. This will only result in a higherproduction of combustion residues which will pollute theenvironment and clog the exhaust channel in the cylinderas well as the muffler. In addition, fuel consumption willrise and performance will decrease.The Storage of FuelFuels have a limited storage life. Fuel and fuel mixturesage through evaporation, especially at high temperatures.Aged fuel and fuel mixtures can cause starting problemsand damage the engine.Purchase only that amount of fuel,which will be consumed over the next few months. At hightemperatures, once fuel has been mixed it should be usedup in 6-8 weeks.Use only approved and marked containers for transportand storage. Store fuel only in dry, cool and securelocations!
