15 ENGLISHAdjusting the miter angleCAUTION: After changing the miter angle,always secure the turn base by returning thereleasing lever in a locked position and tighteningthe grip firmly.NOTICE: When turning the turn base, be sure toraise the handle fully.1. Rotate the grip counterclockwise and press downthe releasing lever into an unlocked position.2. Hold and swing the grip from side to side to turnthe base.3. Align the pointer with your desired angle on themiter angle scale.4. Push up the releasing lever into a locked positionand tighten the grip.123456► 1. Grip 2. Releasing lever 3. Locked position4. Unlocked position 5. Pointer 6. Miter angle scalePositive stop functionThis miter saw employs positive stop function. You canset 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6°, 45°, and 60° right/left miterangle quickly.1. Turn the base close to your desired positive stopangle while pressing down the releasing lever in theunlocked position.2. Deliberately push the releasing lever up halfwaybetween the unlocked position and locked position.3. Turn the base at your desired positive stop angleuntil it is secured.4. GripAdjusting the bevel angleCAUTION: After changing the bevel angle,always secure the arm by tightening the grip dialclockwise.NOTICE: Always remove the upper guide fencesand vertical vise before adjusting the bevel angle.NOTICE: When tilting the circular saw blade, besure that the carriage is fully raised.NOTICE: When changing bevel angles, be sureto reposition the kerf boards appropriately asexplained in the section for positioning kerfboards.NOTICE: Do not tighten the grip dial too hard.Doing so may cause malfunction of the lockingmechanism of the bevel angle.
