Ifyour tool is not aligned properly, perform the following:Miter angleRotate the grip counterclockwise and have the baseready for the positive stop function using the releasinglever. Miter angle scaleSet the turn base to the 0° position using the positivestop function. Square the side of the circular saw bladewith the face of the guide fence using a triangular ruleor try-square. While keeping the square, tighten thescrews on the miter angle scale. After that, align thepointer with the 0° position in the miter angle scale andthen tighten the screw on the pointer.12► 1. Lower thecarriage fully and lock it in the lowered position withthe stopper pin.
