You mayburn yourself.Remove screws, which secure Lamp Box for the light.Pull out the Lamp Box keeping pushing lightly the upperposition of it as illustrated on the left.Pull out the fluorescent tube and then replace it withMakita original new one.Cleaning of the lens for the laser lightFor model LS0714FL, LS0714L123005703If the lens for the laser light becomes dirty, or sawdustadheres to it in such a way that the laser line is no longereasily visible, unplug the saw and remove and clean thelens for the laser light carefully with a damp, soft cloth.Do not use solvents or any petroleum-based cleaners onthe lens.1005704To remove the lens for the laser light, remove the sawblade before removing the lens according to theinstructions in the section titled "Installing or removingsaw blade".Loosen but do not remove the screw which secures thelens using a screwdriver.Pull out the lens as shown in the figure.NOTE:• If the lens does not come out, loosen the screwfurther and pull out the lens again without removingthe screw.Replacing carbon brushes1001145Remove and check the carbon brushes regularly.Replace when they wear down to the limit mark.
