Loosen the lever at the rear of the tool.Make sure that the arm is locked.Turn the hex bolt on the left side of the armtwo or three revolutions counterclockwise.Turn the hex bolt on the right side of the armtwo or three revolutions counterclockwise totilt the blade to the left.1001570Carefully square the side of the blade withthe top surface of the turn base using thetriangular rule, try-square, etc. by turning thehex bolt on the right side of the arm clockwise.Turn the hex bolt on the left side of the armclockwise as far as it will go. Then tighten thelever securely.1 23001571Make sure that the two pointers on the armpoint to each 0° on the bevel scale on thearm holder. If they do not point to 0°, loosenthe screws which secure the pointers andadjust them so that they will point to 0°.2133001572(2) 45° bevel angle132001573Adjust the 45° bevel angle only afterperforming 0° bevel angle adjustment. Toadjust left 45° bevel angle, loosen the leverand tilt the blade to the left fully. Make surethat the pointer on the arm points to 45° onthe bevel scale on the arm holder. If thepointer does not point to 45°, turn the left 45°bevel angle adjusting bolt on the side of thearm holder until the pointer points to 45°.To adjust right 45° bevel angle, perform thesame procedure described above.1.
