By turning the vise knob clockwise, the screwremains secured. To grip the workpiece, turn the viseknob gently clockwise until the projection reaches its top-most position, then fasten securely. If the vise knob isforced in or pulled out while being turned clockwise, theprojection may stop at an angle. In this case, turn thevise knob back counterclockwise until the screw isreleased, before turning again gently clockwise. The maximum width of the workpiece which can besecured by the horizontal vise is 130 mm (5-1/8”).CAUTION:• Grip the workpiece only when the projection is atthe topmost position. Failure to do so may result ininsufficient securing of the workpiece. This couldcause the workpiece to be thrown, cause damageto the blade or cause the loss of control, which canresult in PERSONAL INJURY.Holders and holder assembly(optional accessories)The holders and the holder assembly can be installed oneither side as a convenient means of supporting work-pieces horizontally.
