Always insert it all the wayuntil it locks in place with a little click. If you can seethe red part on the upper side of the button, it is notlocked completely. Insert it fully until the red partcannot be seen. If not, it may accidentally fall out ofthe tool, causing injury to you or someone aroundyou.• Do not use force when inserting the batterycartridge. If the cartridge does not slide in easily, itis not being inserted correctly.Battery protection system (Battery cartridgewith a star mark)1011389The battery cartridge with a star mark is equipped withthe protection system, which automatically cuts off theoutput power for its long service life.The tool stops during operation when the tool and/orbattery are placed under the following situation. This iscaused by the activation of protection system and doesnot show the tool trouble.• When the tool is overloaded:At this time, release the switch trigger andremove causes of overload and then pull theswitch trigger again to restart.• When battery cells get hot:If any operation of the switch trigger, themotor will remain stopped. At this time, stopuse of the tool and cool or charge the batterycartridge after removing it from the tool.• When the remaining battery capacity gets low:If any operation of the switch trigger, themotor will remain stopped.
