Tighten the adjusting screw firmly at the positionwhere it stops sliding.NOTE: Laser line is factory adjusted so that it ispositioned within 1 mm (0.04") from the side surfaceof the blade (cutting position).NOTE: When laser line appears dim and hard to seebecause of direct sunlight, relocate the work area to aplace where there is less direct sunlight.Aligning the laser lineAlign the cutting line on your workpiece with the laserline.ABA) When you want to obtain the correct size on the leftside of workpiece, shift the laser line to the left of theblade.B) When you want to obtain the correct size on the rightside of workpiece, shift the laser line to the right of theblade.NOTE: Use wood facing against the guide fencewhen aligning the cutting line with the laser line at theside of guide fence in compound cutting (bevel angle45° and miter angle right 45°).ASSEMBLYWARNING: Always be sure that the tool isswitched off and the battery cartridge is removedbefore working on the tool.
