Discoloration, deformation orcracks may result.Adjusting the cutting angleThis tool is carefully adjusted and aligned at the factory,but rough handling may have affected the alignment. Ifyour tool is not aligned properly, perform the following:Miter angleLower the handle fully and lock it in the lowered positionby the stopper pin. Push the carriage toward the guidefence. Miter scaleSet the turn base to the 0° position using the positivestop function. Square the side of the blade with the faceof the guide fence using a triangular rule or try-square.While keeping the square, tighten the screws on themiter angle scale. After that, align the pointers (bothright and left) with the 0° position in the miter anglescale and then tighten the screw on the pointer.
