Malibu recommends using only cups with covers as boat motion islikely to otherwise slosh liquids out of the cups. If liquids are spilled into the cup holder, oranywhere else, they should be cleaned up as soon as practical to prevent any damage to theboat components or anything brought on-board. Such damage is not covered under warranty.Models: All models.REMOVABLE TRASH RECEPTACLESome models have a removable trash receptacle which is stowed under the aft,starboard seating. Malibu recommends using plastic liners in the receptacle to ease theremoval of trash. All trash, regardless of whether the boat is equipped with this feature,should be properly discarded on-shore in a legal and safe manner. Clean the receptacle asneeded to prevent staining and odors.Models: All models.CARPETS AND MATSCarpets and mats add comfort and attractive appearances to the interior. Theserequire some additional attention to the interior of the deck. It is important to allow thecarpet/mat to dry before covering the deck with a mooring cover or other canvas. (Thesnap-out carpets can be removed to air dry.) Although Malibu carpets and mats areconstructed from marine-grade materials, if they do not dry thoroughly before storage,even short-duration, mold and mildew can set in. Additional information is available inthe Care and Maintenance section of this Owner’s Manual.The snap-out carpet hardware is made from stainless steel to resist rust andcorrosion. However, boat owners and operators should routinely check that the snapsare in good condition. Any time the snap-out carpets are reinstalled on the deck, becertain that the snaps are fully seated. Otherwise, the carpet could dislodge or move,causing passengers to slip and fall.Ensure that snap-out carpets are secure prior to walking on them. If the snaps are not fully seated, the carpet maynot function as designed. When dislodged, carpets and mats could cause a passenger to slip and fall.Models: The snap-out carpet is standard in all Wakesetter models. An optional snap-out carpet features the Malibu logo. A mat is also optional on allWakesetter models.COCKPIT TABLEA cockpit table is available as an option on all models. It consists of three pieces: apermanently installed mount that is located on the port side of the passenger area of thedeck; a removable leg; and a removable table top.The cockpit table top and leg should be securely stored in one of the storagecompartments when not in use.The cockpit table top snaps into place on top of the leg. The leg has a 45-degree bendclose to the end that attaches to the permanent mount on the underside of the seat onthe port side.
