If you use an RS-232 Terminator Byte, it goes at the end of the messagesent to the host terminal or PC. If you included a BCC(RS-232 Parameters - 2 Programming mode), it followsthe Terminator Byte and includes the Terminator Byte inthe calculation. Refer to the RS-232 Terminator Byteworksheet in Appendix A.The Terminator Byte parameter contains two selections:Disable and Enable. Scan the Hex 0 tag to disable theTerminator Byte, or the Hex 1 tag to enable it. Thedefault is Enable.The ASCII Code parameter permits you to specify whatASCII code to use for the Terminator Byte. Enter yourselection by scanning the appropriate two Hex tags.Refer to the ASCII Code Chart in Appendix A. You canselect any value form 01 through 0F; however, therecommendation is that you use the End Text (ETX)ASCII Code which is 03 Hex or a Carriage Return (CR)which is 0D Hex.
