You can also use the CD-ROM drive to play youraudio CDs.The CD-ROM drive operates at different speeds depending on whetherthe CD you are using contains data or music. This allows you to get yourdata faster and to see smoother animation and video.A flashing amber activity lamp on the front of the drive indicates that thedrive is reading data. Press the tray button to open or close the CD-ROMtray for loading or unloading a CD. An emergency eject feature allowsyou to open the tray in case of a power or software malfunction.Optional DVD-ROM DriveSome systems might come with an optional DVD-ROM drive in place ofthe CD-ROM drive. Use the DVD-ROM drive to read DVD discs as wellas standard audio and video CDs.SpeakersThe system has two 1-watt stereo speakers mounted inside the base of theLCD panel.
