Installation and ConnectionsConnecting to a NetworkThe NP905/NP901W comes standard with a LAN port (RJ-45) which provides a LAN connection using a LAN cable.The USB Wireless LAN Unit also provides a wireless LAN connection. To use a LAN connection, you are requiredto assign an IP address to the projector. For setting the NETWORK, see page 99. (From the menu, select [SETUP]→ [INSTALLATION(2)] → [NETWORK SETTINGS])NOTE: Some NEC models does not come standard with the USB Wireless LAN Unit. If you buy such a projector,the optional USBWireless LAN unit is required to make presentations via a wireless connection.With the LAN connection, two features are available: Projector control and Picture transmission.Projector control featureWith the wired or wireless LAN connection, you can control (power on/off, input select, etc.) and receive informationfrom the projector over the network using a computer. The following three methods are available:* Using the HTTP Server feature on the projector.
