WARNINGBefore doing the procedures in this manual, make sure thatyour DAU is powered off and unplug the AC power cordsfrom the back of the chassis. Failure to disconnect powerbefore opening your DAU can result in personal injury andequipment damage.! CAUTIONOperating your DAU with the cover removed can damageyour DAU components. For proper cooling and airflow,always replace all covers before powering on your DAU.! WARNINGThe SVP Service Processor contains a lithium battery. Donot remove the lithium battery. Contact your sales agent.The lithium battery may explode when it is brought close toheat or fire or immersed in water. Dispose of lithiumbatteries as required by local ordinance or as normal wasteif no local ordinance exists. Keep all batteries away fromchildren.Static PrecautionsAn electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage disk drives, the DAU board, andother components. You can provide ESD protection by wearing an antistaticwrist strap attached to chassis ground when handling DAU components.Electronic devices can be easily damaged by static electricity.
