Maintenance and Troubleshooting 4-3Wipe the outside surface of the DAU cabinet, all power cord plugs, and dust fromaround the rear fan exhaust opening with a clean dry soft cloth.If stains remain on the outside surfaces of the cabinet, use the following guidelines:1. Power off the DAU and unplug all power cords and interface cables.2. Rub off stains on surfaces by using a slightly dampened cloth soaked in a milddetergent. Do not use solvents or strong abrasive cleaners on any part of the unit.3. After the stains are removed use a cloth soaked in plain water to remove anyresidue.4. Wipe the DAU dry.Initial DAU Startup ProblemsIncorrect installation or configuration usually causes problems that occur at initialsystem startup. Hardware failure is a less frequent cause. If you have problems duringinitial system startup, check the following:! Is the DAU power cords properly connected and plugged into a NEMA 5-15R outlet(100-120 VAC) or a NEMA 6-15R outlet (200-240 VAC)?! Is AC power available at the outlets?! Is the power LED on the front panel of the DAU lit?!
